Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Alsahwa Estate | Competition Period: 9am 28th August 2026 – 11:59pm 6th September 2026

These terms and conditions govern the competition (the “Competition”) run by the promoter named above. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms may be subject to change; any amendments will be updated immediately and entrants should refer to the latest version of this document hosted on the website.

By entering, entrants agree to have their contact information added to the databases of Alsahwa Estate, and acknowledge that their information may be used for business purposes, including marketing communications, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

1. Eligibility

• Open to residents of the Sunshine Coast aged 18 years or older.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the promoter are not eligible to enter.
• Entrants must provide a valid email address (and contact details) at the time of entry.
• As the prize includes alcohol, the winner must be aged 18 years or older and may be required to provide valid photo identification to claim the prize.
• Void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter

To enter the Competition, participants must complete the following steps during the competition period:

3. Additional entry conditions:

• Maximum 1 entry/entries per person per day unless otherwise stated.
• Entries must be made in English (or specify other languages if applicable).
• Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or do not comply with these terms will be deemed invalid.
• Competition opens 9am Friday 28th August 2026 and closes 11:59pm Sunday 6th September 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

4. Winner Selection & Notification

• One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries by Alsahwa Estate on 7th September 2026.
• The draw will be conducted using a randomised selection method to ensure fairness.
• The winner will be contacted via the email address provided at entry within 48 hours of the draw.
• The winner must respond and claim their prize within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture, and Alsahwa Estate reserves the right to select a new winner.
• Alsahwa Estate is not responsible for winners who cannot be contacted due to incorrect or outdated details.

5. Prize Details

One (1) winner will receive:

• 1 x $200 ēthos voucher
• 1 x bottle Nil Desperandum Spiced Rum (RRP $99.00)
• 1 x Loco Love Chocolate 4-pack (RRP $35.50)
• 1 x Alsahwa Estate Honey (RRP $15.00)
• 1 x jar of house-made Kumquat, Chilli & Spiced Rum Chutney

  
  

6. Conditions of Prize:

• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, store credit, or gift cards.
• The prize must be redeemed by 14th September 2026.
• Alsahwa Estate reserves the right to substitute the prize, or any element of it, for one of equal or greater value at any time without notice.
• Any costs not explicitly stated as part of the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

7. Privacy

• Personal information collected during this Competition will be handled in accordance with Alsahwa Estate’s Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

• Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting the promoter.

8. General Conditions

• Alsahwa Estate reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition at any time if fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control affect the integrity of the Competition.
• Entrants must ensure all details submitted are accurate and up to date. The promoter takes no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete information.
• By entering, entrants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
• All decisions made by Alsahwa Estate regarding the Competition — including eligibility, winner selection, and prize fulfilment — are final and binding.
• The promoter’s liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
• Entrants release Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability arising from or in connection with the Competition.

9. Governing Law

This Competition is governed by the laws of Queensland. Any disputes arising in connection with this Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
