Held within ēthos, our signature restaurant overlooking one of the estate’s dams, your reception offers an intimate yet elegant atmosphere for dining and celebration. As evening falls, the surrounding trees are softly lit – a beautiful backdrop for the night ahead.
With your choice of wedding package, thoughtful additions such as grazing tables, late-night bites, or a champagne tower can be woven in to make the celebration your own.

Alsahwa Estate is nestled on 30 acres at 20 Rifle Range Road, Palmwoods, in the heart of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We’re fifteen minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport, thirty minutes from Noosa, and about an hour from Brisbane Airport. Palmwoods and Woombye train stations are each within ten minutes of the gate, which makes Alsahwa one of the more accessible hinterland wedding venues for interstate guests.
Full-venue weddings at Alsahwa are designed for between 40 and 80 guests, with exclusive use of the Estate and a reception held at ēthos, our farm-to-table restaurant.
Full-day exclusive hire of the Estate, ceremony benches and signage easel, all reception furniture (tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, crockery), natural woven linen napkins, cake and registry tables, in-house PA and music system at ēthos, and a dedicated wedding coordinator from your first enquiry through to the close of the day. Yes, absolutely! Every ceremony at Alsahwa is held outdoors, set within the gardens and palms. You can choose from five ceremony locations across the estate: the Tunnel of Love, the Oasis, the Green, the Lido Deck, or the light-filled Botanica Pavilion (which also serves as our wet-weather option). Each has its own character, and your wedding coordinator will help you find the one that fits the way you’re imagining the day.
The Botanica Pavilion is our beautiful undercover space, a light-filled garden room that can host either your ceremony or reception, fully sheltered. Our team works to ensure you feel confident either way: rain won’t change the day, it just changes the space.
We don’t currently have accommodation at the estate, but our location in Palmwoods places you within easy reach of some of the Sunshine Coast hinterland’s best places to stay, from boutique cottages in Maleny and Montville to coastal stays in Mooloolaba and Noosa. We can share a list of trusted accommodation partners and transfer services when you enquire.
Spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) are the most sought-after months thanks to warm days, less rain, soft light, and our gardens at their best. Winter weddings have a quieter, fireside quality that suits more intimate celebrations. In saying that, we host weddings all year round, and have stunning locations and options to suit all seasonal weather.
