Food Forest Community Planting Day

Free Event – Registration Required

Be part of something that will grow for generations.

Join us for a special community Food Forest planting day as we take the next exciting step in the evolution of Alsahwa Estate.

Together, in partnership with Landcare Noosa, we’ll plant more than 300 trees, shrubs and companion plants, helping to create a thriving regenerative Food Forest that will nourish people, wildlife and the land for years to come. And you’ll be able to taste what you’ve planted at ēthos every time we harvest.

The morning begins with a guided farm tour, where you’ll discover the story of Alsahwa Estate and learn how we’ve transformed open land into productive gardens using regenerative farming practices. You’ll then roll up your sleeves alongside our team to help establish the next chapter of our journey – a diverse Food Forest designed to work with nature.

Throughout the experience you’ll learn:

🌱 What a Food Forest is and how it mimics a natural ecosystem.

🌿 The principles of regenerative farming and healthy soil.

🐝 The importance of biodiversity, pollinators and companion planting.

🌳 How different plants work together to create a resilient, self-sustaining ecosystem.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply curious about sustainable living, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, meet like-minded people and leave a lasting legacy at Alsahwa Estate.

Following the planting, everyone is invited to enjoy a complimentary community BBQ as a thank you for helping bring our Food Forest to life.
